🇺🇸Loudon County General Election Candidate Spotlight🇺🇸

🌟The Republican Candidates for the General Election were selected in the May Republican Party Primary🌟

Introduction to My Candidacy for Loudon County Commission, District 7

I am excited to have secured the nomination for the Republican candidacy for Loudon County Commission in District 7. My primary goal is to improve the quality of life for all residents of Loudon County, with a special focus on the voters of Tellico Village and District 7. I believe our community deserves leadership that listens carefully, acts decisively, and delivers real results on the issues that matter most—safe neighborhoods, responsible growth, fiscal prudence, and preserving the unique character of our area.

Throughout my life, I have developed strong problem-solving skills. Since arriving in Tennessee 6 years ago, I have built meaningful relationships with key leaders across Tennessee. These connections allow me to bring practical solutions and additional resources to the table when local challenges arise. Whether working with state officials or collaborating with neighboring communities, I am committed to cutting through bureaucracy to get things done for the people I serve.

A recent example highlights this approach. Constituents in Mialaquo became alarmed by a homeless encampment along the riverbanks that created serious concerns, including alleged drug activity, environmental damage, and potential child endangerment. After spending several days in direct communication with local officials, we successfully resolved the situation. The encampment was cleared, and families in the neighborhood could once again enjoy the peace and security they deserve. This is the kind of responsive, hands-on leadership I will bring to the County Commission every single day.

My ability to tackle difficult problems others often struggle to solve makes me the ideal candidate to represent District 7. I don’t just identify issues—I work persistently until practical, lasting solutions are in place. Loudon County faces important decisions in the years ahead, and residents need a commissioner who can navigate complexity while keeping our shared values front and center.

With more than 40 years of successful business experience, I have honed expertise in managing budgets, controlling costs, and delivering efficient operations. I understand how to make every dollar count and how to run organizations responsibly—skills that will serve Loudon County taxpayers well as we address county finances, infrastructure needs, and sustainable growth.

As your commissioner, I will be a strong, consistent voice for Tellico Village and all of District 7. I am a conservative candidate who believes in limited government, personal responsibility, and protecting the freedoms that make our community special. At the end of the day, my true mission is to honor God in all that I do, serving with integrity, humility, and a deep commitment to the people of Loudon County.

I respectfully ask for your support and your vote in the upcoming election. Together, we can build an even better future for our families and neighbors.

🇺🇸Tennessee State Senate District 5 Candidate Spotlight🇺🇸

🌟District 5 includes Loudon County, Anderson County, and parts of Knox County🌟

Jimmy Matlock is a lifelong Tennessean, conservative leader, and successful business owner with a proven record of service to his community and state. Born on February 5, 1959, in Loudon, Tennessee, Jimmy was raised with a strong work ethic and a commitment to faith, family, and service.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Jimmy took the foundation of a small service station—Matlock Tire Service—and grew it into a respected, multi-location business serving customers across East Tennessee. Under his leadership, the company has remained committed to the same principles it was founded on: integrity, hard work, and putting customers first.

Jimmy represented District 21 in the Tennessee House of Representatives from 2007 to 2019, serving in the 105th through 109th General Assemblies. During his time in office, he served on key committees including State and Local Government, Transportation, and Public Safety, where he worked to support infrastructure, strengthen communities, and promote responsible government. His strong pro-business record earned him recognition such as the NFIB Guardian of Business Award and the Taxpayer Hero Award from Americans for Prosperity.

Beyond his professional and legislative experience, Jimmy has been deeply engaged in his community. He has served in leadership roles with organizations including the Tellico Reservoir Development Agency, Loudon County United Way, the Eaton Crossroads Ruritan Club, and the Tennessee/Kentucky Tire Dealers Association. He is also a three-time Chairman of the Loudon County Republican Party and has served as a member of the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and as a Trustee for Trevecca Nazarene University. In addition, he is an active member of the Karns Lions Club and the Farragut Rotary Club, and currently serves as Vice-Chairman of Barnabas Ministries. Jimmy remains committed to advancing conservative principles and strengthening communities across East Tennessee.

Jimmy and his wife are proud parents of three adult children, have welcomed their spouses into the family, and are blessed with five precious grandchildren. Jimmy and his wife are active members of Crossroads Church of the Nazarene. His life has been guided by faith, service, and a dedication to making East Tennessee a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

🇺🇸Tennessee State Representative District 32 Candidate Spotlight🇺🇸

🌟District 32 is most of Lenoir City in the upper end of Loudon County and parts of Roane County🌟

Candidate Paul Suarez

I am a Christian, husband, father, combat veteran, former Critical Care Paramedic, and skilled tradesman dedicated to fighting for Tennessee families and protecting conservative values. I proudly served two combat deployments to Iraq before continuing my service at home as a Critical Care Paramedic with more than a decade of experience helping people during their most difficult moments.

My background in emergency services, infrastructure, and the skilled trades has taught me the importance of hard work, public safety, constitutional freedoms, and protecting the rights of everyday citizens.

I am running to bring strong conservative leadership to Nashville by supporting first responders, defending the Second Amendment, protecting parental rights, strengthening infrastructure, supporting veterans, and standing up for Tennessee workers and small businesses.

As a blue-collar conservative, I am committed to preserving Tennessee values and ensuring future generations inherit a stronger, safer, and more prosperous state.

🇺🇸Tennessee State Representative District 32 Candidate Spotlight🇺🇸

🌟District 32 is most of Lenoir City in the upper end of Loudon County and parts of Roane County.🌟

For more than four decades, Jack Stockton has answered the call to serve. As Roane County Sheriff for the past 20 years — and the only Roane County Sheriff in Roane County history to run unopposed for two consecutive terms — Jack has earned the trust of citizens, colleagues, and community leaders alike.
He has balanced multi-million-dollar budgets, led through every kind of crisis, and built strong working relationships with officials and everyday Tennesseans on both sides of the aisle. Now he's ready to take that same proven, principled leadership to Nashville.

Conservative principles. Tennessee values.
A clear vision built on a lifetime of public service. These are the priorities Jack will fight for in the State House.

Defend the Constitution
Uphold the Constitutions of Tennessee and the United States — every word, every right, every day.

Protect the 2nd Amendment
An unwavering defender of your right to keep and bear arms. Tennessee values, Tennessee freedoms.

Safeguard Religious Liberty
Stand firm to protect the freedom of faith and conscience for every Tennessean and every family.

Champion the Vulnerable
Stand up for abused children and our senior citizens. The strong have a duty to defend the weak.

Honor Our Heroes
Better infrastructure, healthcare and benefits for veterans, first responders, and their families.

Strengthen Rural & Mental Healthcare
Fight for accessible rural healthcare and expanded mental health resources across District 32.
