What an unforgettable week at the Texas FFA Convention! 💙💛

We are incredibly proud of our FFA members for representing our chapter with excellence. This week, our students:
⭐ Earned their prestigious Lone Star FFA Degrees, recognizing their hard work, leadership, and dedication to agricultural education. Congratulations Salem, Ryan and Lilly!
⭐ Served on Courtesy Corps, welcoming and assisting thousands of FFA members from across Texas with professionalism and a servant's heart. Well done Elyssa, Scarlett, Lilly and Jadyn!
⭐ Attended engaging workshops that built leadership, communication, and career skills.
⭐ Were inspired by outstanding keynote speakers who challenged them to dream bigger, lead with purpose, and make a difference.

The future of agriculture is bright, and we couldn't be more proud of the way these students represented our chapter, school, and community. Congratulations on an amazing week—we can't wait to see what you accomplish next!

Leadership starts long before the school year begins. 🌟 Our FFA officers are spending the day at District Leadership Camp building teamwork, strengthening their leadership skills, and preparing to serve our chapter and community. We're excited to see all they'll bring back this year. 💙💛

Know a Texas student who will be a high school senior next year? Have them sign up for our THRIVE program!

This learning experience is part of our Student Success Series.

Students participating in this program will develop public speaking and leadership skills, learn more about the free enterprise system and hear from engaging motivational speakers. Plus, they’ll dive deeper into digital advocacy efforts and participate in a media training.

Thrive will take place July 31 - Aug. 2 in Waco.

Registration closes July 14 and is limited to the first 150 students who sign up.

Congratulations ladies!

Rosebud-Lott High School students Cadence Johnson and Addison Wilde will represent Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative on the Government-in-Action Youth Tour June 14-24. They will join more than 140 other students from across Texas in Austin and head to Washington, D.C., where they will join students from across the country.

During the weeklong trip, they will meet with representatives in Congress, travel to historic monuments and landmarks, and visit museums where artifacts of our nation’s formation are preserved.
