Old Settlers & Veterans Association of Falls County The association was formed in 1908 to honor the early Falls County pioneers and later included veterans.

In 1912, the permanent reunion grounds were acquired from the James K. Tomlinson family in the area known as Tomlinson Hill between Lott and Marlin.

A great visit today with board members from Preservation Texas. We were happy to show them our restored 1914 tabernacle and 1840s log cabin which received their honor awards last fall after being named one of the Most Endangered Places in Texas in 2016.

It's a great day. Restoration of our 1840s log cabin was completed yesterday. Thanks to all who helped make it happen!
