NM Youth Conservation Foundation Outdoor education events and archery in the field programs. First in the Field Core Values:

NMYCF & First in the Field - provide fishing, hunting, and shooting camps and opportunities for new participants to these outdoor activities and winter sports programs. Stewardship – to take responsibility for the care of the wildlife, habitat, and natural resources that has been given us to manage for future generations. Sportsmanship – to know and abide by the rules and to remain ethical

in attitude and actions. Respect – to feel and show regard for authority, for one’s self, for those around you, and for the environment. Courage – the strength to do what is needed and the determination to follow through with it. Confidence – to know what you’re capable of and to have the knowledge to accomplish it. Safety – to understand and practice the fundamentals that keep yourself and others safe. Teachable – to possess a desire to learn in every aspect of life.

Meet our Aquatics- Summer Intern- Tyler Jared (TJ) Dickerson. TJ leads our YCC summer education program, teaching water wildlife and fisheries education. Tyler will be attending Texas A&M to pursue a degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Program.
Tyler has a passion for the outdoors and loves to fish. More important Tyler likes to share his knowledge with the youth in our communities here in New Mexico. Tune in each week as TJ shares his knowledge on fish species and their environments in New Mexico.
