The name Dar a Luz is the Central and South American term meaning to give birth. However, literally translated it means "to come to light"or "to bring light." It is such a lovely term and one that means more than just the birth of a baby.

📢 Join Amity this Sunday for our Newborns Head to Toe class!

👶 You will learn how to figure out and understand your baby’s needs and communication cues. In addition, you will also learn about normal newborn behavior/appearances and what to do if something doesn’t seem right.

👩‍🍼Make sure to bring your own blanket for swaddling as we will be focusing on the basics like diapering, holding, swaddling, burping and much more! Our class is 4 hours long with a 30 min lunch break, so feel free to bring food with you.

It’s not too late to register, only one registration is needed for you and your partner.

🤱 Join Amity this Sunday to learn all about the many ways to feed your baby and feel prepared for it all! 🍼

We recommend taking this workshop before your baby is born, but all are welcome! Make sure to bring your nursing pillow and pump if you have one. This workshop is 4 hours long with a 30 minute lunch break, so feel free to pack food.

We’re holding another Baby-Wearing Dance Party during our Postpartum Support group tomorrow! It’s completely free, so please join us and dance with your baby to music that lifts the spirit and energizes your body! 🎶

You should be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared for exercise. Again, we promise: NO Baby Shark! 🦈

Please bring your own baby carrier – any style that provides good support and keeps your baby safe and secure against your body. Also please dress comfortably, bring a water bottle, and yoga mat if you have one. 💃

We’re bringing back our birth classes! 🤌

This condensed version of our Inspired and Intentional birth class covers stages of labor, useful coping techniques, postpartum and common interventions at the hospital. Feel more informed, relaxed and confident about what to expect in labor and birth especially in the hospital setting. Taught by our awesome Educator Amity and fabulous Nurse Practitioner Krystal. This is a 2 part series but only one registration is needed for both classes.

😴 Join us on July 21st for our Baby Sleep Basics class! Tekla Johnson instructs an informative and interactive class about newborn and infant sleep, and she will also have time to answer your questions during her Q&A. This class is great for expecting families and parents with babies under 1. 👶 🐣
