Our hearts are incredibly full today. 🇺🇸❤️

To everyone who joined us for our 4th of July Open House following the Los Lunas parade—thank you. Having the opportunity to serve, host, and celebrate with this great community is a privilege we will never take for granted.

An event of this scale simply does not happen without an army of selfless volunteers, generous donors, and dedicated families. We want to extend a very special and humble thank you to Gabriel Barela and Marlene Barela, this year’s 4th of July Event Director and Committee Chairman, for their tireless work and leadership. We also want to recognize the amazing Vivian Torrez, who worked directly with them to coordinate the vital donations that made this celebration a reality.

To our incredible sponsors, we cannot thank you enough for stepping up for our community:

-Walmart Supercenter: As our largest contributor this year, your immense generosity made all the difference!

-Niagara Water: Thank you for supplying over 50 cases of water, ensuring our hardworking volunteers stayed safely hydrated during both the parade and the open house.

-Benny's of Bosque Farms: Thank you for your steadfast, continuous support. You always show up for our Post and our community when we need you.

Most importantly, thank you to every single member, family, and local resident who showed up, served, shared a meal, and celebrated this momentous 250th Independence Day with us. You are the heartbeat of this community, and we could not have done this without you.

If you didn't get a chance to carry the giant flag with us in the parade or make it down to the open house this time, please mark your calendars! We will absolutely be returning to do it all again next year, and we would love to have you join us.

From the bottom of our hearts here at Post 9676, thank you again, and Happy 4th of July! 🎆🦅🤝
