Board Member Wayne Heimsoth drew a special assignment: serving as host and es**rt to Miss California of the Miss California Organization during her visit to the Palo Alto Veterans Administration Hospital. Together they spent the day meeting recovering veterans, stopping room-by-room to offer encouragement, gratitude, and warm conversation. Their presence brought genuine smiles and lifted spirits throughout the hospital.
