Treasures 4 Teens

Treasures 4 Teens Bay area teens helping make the holidays brighter for less fortunate peers. In 2013,we served over 600 teens and in 2014, we expect to serve over 800 teens.

Los Gatos teenagers volunteer to run donation drives at the local Farmer's Markets and their schools and to fundraise throughout the year, to be able to purchase age appropriate, new holiday gifts to all needy teens in the South Bay area. Although many holiday toy drives exist, there is a hidden problem that few are aware of. There are plenty of Barbies, Hot Wheels, trucks, and dolls donated, but

never enough gifts that teens enjoy. We personally shop for every gift we give, and only give items that we ourselves would like to receive. We give brand new age appropriate books along with music players, sporting equipment, make-up kits, body lotion and blanket sets, RC helicopters and trucks, tabletop games, boxing glove sets, skateboards, craft sets, beauty products, purses/wallets, etc. We try to give gifts that will bring joy for a long time. We believe that by giving our needy neighboring teens something that was chosen specifically for them, we send them a message that the community cares about them, and that they matter! We partner with the Campbell Community Toy Program and West Valley Community Services to identify and qualify the teens we serve. Donations are gratefully accepted on our website, at www.treasures4teens.org.

Treasures 4 Teens would like to give huge thank you to the City of Monte Sereno for their donation of 2k.

Sophie Mortaz and Joselyn Penafiel were able to present in front of the Monte City Council to summarize all the great work we have been able to do with our great group of teens! We are excited to continue our great work this year, and to keep on supporting other teens as we continue to grow.

Thank you to everyone who has been able to support Treasures 4 Teens last year, and we hope to see your continuous help support our upcoming fundraisers.

GUESS WHAT GUYS?! I just had a wonderful meeting with Mr. Selak, the Director of Technology at Hillbrook School! We will be getting iPad donations for our drive this year. GET EXCITED!
