She went out for the day… and had energy left when she got home. For Eila, that's everything.

With a T12 ASIA-A SCI and developing carpal tunnel, pushing her manual chair was getting harder. The Rio Firefly gave her back what she was slowly losing control of her own mobility.

The 2026 Reeve Summit in Boston was something special. 💙
Arash joined the legendary Nurse Linda on a panel about aging with paralysis — wisdom, laughs, and a ski story that had the whole room going. Sarah got quality time with Wicked star Marissa Bode, who is redefining what disability representation looks like in Hollywood. And somewhere in between, Arash found a heated therapy pool. Priorities. 😄

We came home recharged, reignited, and more committed than ever to the NorCal SCI community.

🚴 Ready to roll? Come join us at one of the Bay Area's best-kept secrets!

On Sunday, May 17th, NorCal SCI is teaming up with BORP for an Adaptive Cycling Adventure at Alviso Marina County Park — and it's going to be a beautiful day out on the trails. 🌊

Here's what the day looks like:
🕙 10:30 AM — Equipment fitting with the BORP team
🚴 11:00 AM — Ride time! We hit the Alviso trails
🏁 12:30 PM — Wrap-up & hang out

BORP will be on-site with handcycles and foot trikes for all ability levels — whether you're a seasoned rider or it's your first time on adaptive equipment, they'll make sure you're set up and ready to go.

Friends and family are more than welcome to join on their own bikes, too. The more the merrier! Just remember to bring water and snacks to keep you fueled on the trail. 🎒
