Yesterday, Los Baños PAL had the incredible honor of being recognized as the District 5 Volunteer of the Year during the Merced County Board of Supervisors meeting.
While this award was presented to Los Baños PAL, this recognition truly belongs to every PAL volunteer who gives their time, energy, and heart to our program. ❤️
To our coaches, mentors, event volunteers, board members, parents, and everyone who has volunteered with PAL — THANK YOU! Your countless hours on the fields, at the Los Banos Police Department, at events, and behind the scenes help create opportunities for our youth to learn, grow, build confidence, and feel supported.
Every practice you attend, every game you coach, every event you help organize, and every child you encourage makes a difference. You are not simply volunteering your time — you are investing in the future of our community.
Los Baños PAL is successful because of the people who believe in our youth and are willing to show up for them. This award is a reflection of all of you.
Thank you for continuing to serve, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of our young people. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of our PAL volunteers. 💙
This award is yours. Thank you for investing in our youth and in our community! A huge shoutout to Chief Reyna and Los Banos Police Department as well as Mayor Amabile and City of Los Banos Parks and Recreation Department for supporting programs such as PAL that strive to provide cost effective, positive activities for our youth to help keep them motivated and goal driven. Thank you all once more!
