Gabriel Caorsi’s journey reflects the power of perseverance, hard work, and educational opportunity. While balancing multiple jobs and financial challenges, Gabriel pursued his education with determination. Dorene Dominguez turned personal loss into purpose when she stepped up to lead her family's business following the passing of her father, founder of The Vanir Group of Companies. Today, as Chairwoman and CEO of The Vanir Group and as an advocate for education and community impact, she champions leadership, innovation, and opportunity. Through the Dominguez Dream Academy, which she founded in 2004, she has helped expand educational opportunities for underserved students and families. From an HSF Scholar to a national leader, Edith Ramirez has built a remarkable career dedicated to public service, consumer protection, and justice. The daughter of Mexican immigrants and a proud HSF Alum, Edith earned her BA and JD from Harvard University before serving as Chairwoman of the Federal Trade Commission under President Obama. Throughout her career, she has championed consumer rights, promoted fair competition, and helped shape policy in technology, healthcare, privacy, and cybersecurity.
