Happy Mother’s Day 🩷

Today we honor Maha. Not only a mother to her own children, but a mother figure to so many. Her love and generosity reached far beyond her own home and this foundation continues because of the way she poured into others. She treated every kid she met with the same love and tenderness she gave her own children.

We also celebrate all of the incredible mothers who are part of this foundation and carry so much for their families and communities every day.

We especially hold close the single mothers, widows, those grieving loss, and anyone carrying heaviness in their heart today. You are loved and not alone.

MAHA HAKIM FOUNDATION MARCH MADNESS 2026 🏀
What an amazing day. Thank you endlessly to everyone who came, volunteered, donated and especially to our players who played their hearts out and made the whole day what it was.

Maha loved bringing people together, whether it was playing basketball in her backyard or just hanging out after church, she had a way of creating community so naturally and that’s exactly what this day felt like.

We’re really grateful for all of you and hope this is something we keep doing, continuing her legacy and bringing people together the way she always did. ❤️🏀

Mark your calendars March 28th 11 AM at Western Christian High School in Upland for a day of basketball & community! Men’s teams from MEC & Rancho Church are going head to head in a March Madness–style tournament you won’t want to miss

Come out to cheer on your friends and support a great cause! Every dollar raised will go toward helping children and families through the foundation as well as Kids Retreat 2026. 🏕️

For Valentine’s Day this year we had the privilege of serving our community of families at in Upland. It was such a blessing to share a meal and spend time with the families and kids there 🩷

If you’re in the Inland Empire and have a heart for serving children and families, we would love to have you volunteer with us at future events 🤍

Today we celebrate and honor Maha’s birthday. Born on the most fitting day of love because love is truly all she ever gave.
Her ability to remember the small things for the ones she loved has left an unforgettable impression on us all. She left fingerprints on hearts everywhere she went.
Take a little time today to sit with your memories of her and what she meant to you. If you feel led, share something in the comments. It means more than you know to keep her light alive together.

May this day be about remembrance, but also inspiration. Live in a way that leaves an imprint on someone’s heart through extraordinarily compassionate love the way she did every single day

Merry Christmas from the Maha Hakim Foundation 🩷🎄
Because of this team, and so many other donors not pictured, we were able to:
-Bless over 40 families of the Compton/South Gate community of LA with personalized gifts for their children and families. Our donors went above and beyond to fulfill each family’s wishes and that generosity is the heart of our mission
-Partner with who collected and wrapped extra gifts for our families, they collected so many gifts that we were able to additionally donate to children’s hospitals to bless families spending Christmas there.
We are beyond overwhelmed with gratitude to have not only met but exceeded our goals to serve this year

This weekend we had the joy of distributing the gifts our donors collected. Serving kids and families is the heart of everything we do. Seeing the happiness these gifts brought made it all worth it. If this season reminds us of anything, it’s to look for opportunities to love others well.
