When disaster strikes, being prepared is everything.

We are incredibly proud to partner with Red Cross SoCal for our next Foundation Fighting Blindness Orange County Chapter meeting on Thursday, July 16th.

The American Red Cross is dedicated to helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. In this specialized session, “Be Red Cross Ready – Preparedness for People with Access and Functional Needs,” they will teach us vital, actionable strategies to handle unexpected challenges safely and confidently.

You’ll learn about the essential resources, safety tools, and emergency planning tips designed to protect you and your entire household.

To ground these vital Red Cross principles in real-world experience, our own OC Vice President, Shana, will also step up to share her personal preparedness journey, detailing the specific, practical steps she has taken using these resources.

When: Thursday, July 16, 2026
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM PDT
Where: Zoom Meeting
Get Red Cross Ready with us: Scan the QR code or click the link in our bio to register! For any questions or extra details, feel free to contact Xavier Garcia at [email protected].

Let’s build a safer, more prepared community together. See you there!
