The Saving Opal Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization designed to focus on the human rights of children with our main focus on at-risk & foster care children and mental health through our mentorship programs designed for children between the ages of 5-17. Our partnerships and programs will allow the Saving Opal Foundation (SOF) the ability to bring normalcy and consistency in a child’s lif
e by introducing them to programs that will connect them with other children outside of the foster care system. Our programs will open opportunities for our at-risk youths or youths in the foster care system to join, participate, play, and be involved in normal, age or developmentally appropriate activities. We want to start today to make tomorrow a better & safe place for our children. Give the Gift of Birthdays
Gift of Birthdays are monthly events where we give birthday parties to our foster children. Held on the 1st Saturday of every month for the kids whose birthday falls on that month (IE: January birthday party for kids born in the month of January.) $100 will give 1 child a birthday party they'll remember for the rest of their life. DAP provides Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, and Cheer
programs for schools in Los Angeles, CA; Dallas and Arlington, TX; and Washington, DC. Saving Opal Foundation sponsors children to
participate in the DAP program who are in the foster care system or have been deemed at-risk. Adopt a Squad
Give your company a chance to have their own cheer squad! Name your cheer squad and choose their team colors! Sponsor a Cheer Squad for $2100/month for 12
months allows 21 foster care or at-risk youths to
participate in the DAP Cheer programs.
