Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, speakers, and delegates who made COPANI Brasil 2026 such a meaningful experience.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to PANA USA for their continued support of NYA and their investment in developing the next generation of Nikkei leaders. Their generosity made it possible for our youth delegates to participate in COPANI, learn from international leaders, and build lasting connections with Nikkei communities across the Americas.

NYA is honored to have represented the United States and to stand alongside Nikkei communities working together to preserve our heritage, strengthen our connections, and inspire future generations.

Not everyone experiences being Nikkei the same way.

Some of us speak Japanese.
Some don’t.

Some grew up immersed in Japanese culture.
Others are just beginning to reconnect with their roots.

What connects us isn’t a single experience, but a shared heritage, history, and community.

That’s why NYA exists.

Through cultural exchange, leadership opportunities, community service, and lifelong friendships, we’re building connections across North, Central, and South America.
