When our students step into a Young Storytellers classroom, they're not just learning the mechanics of story structure or writing. They're learning hard skills that will help them thrive well after they leave school.

We’re grateful to announce that we are recipients of the Find Your Light Foundation's 2026 grant! Their support allows us to keep helping young people across Los Angeles tell their stories and see them come to life, ensuring that our students learn not only about storytelling but also to believe in the power of their voices.

We need volunteer actors for these upcoming Big Shows! In just a few hours of your day, you'll get to meet our young writers, play warm-up games, audition for them (yes, you still have to audition), get cast, and then it's on with the show! Improv or theater experience preferred.

Want to know the best acting gig in Los Angeles? It's a Young Storytellers Big Show!

Now that our programs are wrapping up, Big Show season is right around the corner, and we need talented actors to volunteer their skills for our students. Each Big Show is a 2-3 hour time commitment during the school day, where you'll warm up, audition for our young writers, get cast, and perform their scripts on stage for the whole school!
