A very warm welcome to our Occidental College summer Programs Intern, Ruby! Ruby is currently studying psychology and English, and is a student researcher
studying children’s media literacy. In addition to her studies, she's the head of social media for the Occidental Ski and Board club, contributor to
the literary magazine, The Oz, and a barista.

Congratulations to our middle school students in Culver City for a wonderful Big Show and Young Storytellers program this year! A huge thank you to Ms. Allegra, Ms. Smith, our partner teachers, and volunteers for making it all happen, and to The Wende Museum for hosting!

During this one-hour session, we’ll:

When our students step into a Young Storytellers classroom, they're not just learning the mechanics of story structure or writing. They're learning hard skills that will help them thrive well after they leave school.

Help us reach more students as we prepare to celebrate in the month of May. Our community goal is $15,000 so we can reach over 780 students in 39 schools this spring semester.
