The GJP Sarcoma Foundation educates the general public community, health & research communities about the risks of sarcoma, as well as the latest advancements in detection & treatment. The organization participates in professional medical meetings and sits on local cancer committees to create awareness about the disease. The GJP Sarcoma Foundation represents the interests of sarcoma patients with

regards to access to clinical trials, innovative therapies and treatment or a second opinion at a multi-disciplinary cancer center or hospital.

General information

Sarcoma is a cancer of the connective tissue (i.e., bones, muscles, fat, nerves and tendons) that affects approx. 12,000 Americans each year. It is more prevalent among young adults and children about 15% of all pediatric cancers.
