We’ve reached Part 15 of our series, and this time, the target is clear: a net zero-carbon footprint. 🎯🌍
In the high-stakes world of The Day of the Jackal, the Jackal is known for leaving no trace—and it turns out the production crew took that mission literally! While filming this sleek, pan-European thriller, the team implemented some of the most cutting-edge sustainability tactics we’ve seen yet.
From pulling power directly from the local grid in Budapest (saying goodbye to noisy, smoky generators) to becoming the first production in Hungary to use renewable diesel, this shoot was as efficient as a master assassin. They even used a pre-ordering catering system to slash food waste by 50%! 🍽️🚫
It’s no surprise they walked away with an Albert certification and an EMA Gold Seal for their efforts.

We’re stomping into Part 14 of our series, and this time, life didn’t just find a way—it found a sustainable way. 🦖🌿
In Jurassic World: Rebirth, the stakes are high, the predators are apex, and the locations are breathtaking. But when you’re filming in some of the most delicate ecosystems on Earth—from the lush jungles of Thailand to the historic streets of Malta—you can’t just charge in like a T-Rex.
The production team took "leave no trace" to a prehistoric level. To protect the natural beauty of Thailand’s national parks, the crew worked under strict environmental guidelines to ensure that while the dinosaurs were reborn on screen, the local flora and fauna stayed safe and sound.

We’ve reached Part 13 of our series on the 13th, and things are looking quite posh—and incredibly green. ☕️🏰
It would be "terribly improper" to ignore the environment, wouldn’t it? While the characters of Downton Abbey were busy navigating the social hierarchies of the early 20th century, the production team behind the scenes was firmly focused on the future.
Maintaining the grandeur of Highclere Castle and the sprawling estate required more than just good etiquette; it required a commitment to sustainable production. The Crawley household knows how to leave a legacy that isn't just about titles, but about the planet.

While Eleanor, Chidi, and the gang were busy trying to earn enough points to get into The Good Place, the production crew was earning some major points of their own right here on Earth. From the jump, this show proved that you don't need a neutral zone to make ethical choices—you just need a plan.
As it turns out, being "good" wasn't just the plot; it was the practice, and they earned the EMA Gold Seal to prove it.
Swipe through to see exactly how the cast and crew kept their footprint small while their ideas stayed big! ➡️✨

Part 11 of our series is here, and it’s a double feature for the planet! ✂️🌎
For this installment of Films Filmed Sustainably, we’re looking at Jordan Peele’s horror masterpiece, Us. While the movie is all about the shadows lurking beneath us, the production team made sure their environmental footprint wasn't one of them.
There’s more to this production than meets the eye (and no, it’s not just doppelgängers).
Slide through to see how the team behind Us kept their production as clean as a sharp pair of scissors! 🎞️👇
