🔌 What’s Mission 300?
Mission 300 is a historic push—led by the The World Bank, African Development Bank Group, The Rockefeller Foundation, Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) and others—to bring electricity to 300 million Africans by 2030. It’s about action, not promises.
🎓 About the Fellowship
The Mission 300 Fellowship will embed top young African professionals in the heart of government—inside presidential offices, energy ministries, and finance departments—to turn energy policy into real-world power.
🕒 Duration: 24 months
🌍 Locations: Across 12+ African countries (and counting!)
💼 Roles: Energy reform, compact delivery, finance policy, clean cooking access, stakeholder coordination & more
💰 Stipend: ~$26,000 (Year 1), ~$28,000 (Year 2) + housing allowance

🧠 Who We’re Looking For
African nationals who are bold, brilliant, and ready to lead. You should have:
✅ A postgraduate degree (or finishing one soon) in energy, policy, finance, engineering, law, environment, climate, or related fields
✅ 2–4 years of experience
✅ Strong analytical + communication skills
✅ Resilience, humility, and fire in your belly for Africa’s future
✅ Fluency in English (French/Portuguese if working in francophone/lusophone countries)

Co-design policy with presidents, ministers & AfDB/World Bank partners
Drive power sector reform and unblock energy projects
Work across ministries—Energy, Agriculture, Health, Water, Education
Mobilize investment, private sector support & civil society voices
