Candidate Forum for CD3

06/25/2026

Following our community meeting with Mayor Karen Bass, the WHHO continued the conversation with a community panel on the development threatening our golf course and country club.

Huge thanks to Jamie of the Woodland Hills Landwise Alliance and Alex of the Woodland Hills Neighborhood Collective, who are leading this fight on behalf of all of us. They broke down exactly where the project stands, the wetlands and mountain lion habitat at risk, the zoning problems still unresolved, and the very real wildfire evacuation dangers of adding hundreds of vehicles to our narrow streets.

Their dedication, research, and tireless work to protect our community and its wildlife is nothing short of remarkable.
