❕Medical Foster Needed!❕

We were contacted by a family whose pet cats we helped fix several months back. They learned their neighbor’s kitty had given birth in their shared yard and when they saw the condition of the kittens, jumped to bring the whole family inside to safety.

The kittens are receiving medical care and the group of siblings have now been tasked with hanging on to the crew while we search for a foster. We need someone who’s willing to medicate and tend to these healing babies OR a someone to step up to take on any of the other cats in our care so we have the space to help this cat family!

These guys are stable, very sweet, and just need a safe place to land with an attentive foster to get them over this hump. ❤️‍🩹

Can you personally foster? If not, can you share? We need help!

⚠️ Also, plot twist - we learned there were actually THREE postpartum moms on the property - luckily, ALL are were spayed today. And, yes, you guessed it - more babies who need help.

Our hearts go out to Kitten Rescue, and their foster, whose personal cat was stolen by the same dangerous person who severely abused one of their foster kitties. If you know anyone who lives in Playa Del Rey or Santa Fe Springs, please ask them to keep an eye out for this kitty.

Yesterday we shared the heartbreaking news about Din, the foster cat who suffered devastating injuries after a dangerous person entered the home of a Kitten Rescue foster parent. Sadly, Din was not the only victim.

Brooklyn, a former Kitten Rescue cat who had been adopted by the same person who was fostering Din, went missing on the same day that Din was severely injured. Brooklyn was allegedly taken from the foster home in Playa Del Rey and abandoned in Santa Fe Springs by the same individual responsible for harming Din.

Brooklyn is currently missing, and we are desperately hoping for information about his whereabouts and safety. While we understand there is a possibility that Brooklyn may no longer be alive, we do not want to give up hope that he may still be out there and can be brought home.

We are asking our community to please keep an eye out, especially in the Santa Fe Springs area. If you see a cat matching Brooklyn’s description or have any information that may help, please call or text the phone number on this flyer immediately.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by this horrific situation. We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support, concern, and compassion from this community as we continue working to help these cats and seek justice for what happened.

Please share to help us bring Brooklyn home.

There’s been an uptick in male cat sightings near a managed location, and our suspicions were just confirmed: a new mama cat - and of course, a crew of little ones.

This is just one of multiple sites where we have either knowingly or unknowingly trapped postpartum female cats recently. We can trap and fix the adults, but without a few fosters ready to step up at a moment’s notice, we can’t rescue the kittens until we have somewhere for them to land.

Unfortunately, we’re not at a point where scooping them and “figuring it out later” is an option - we’re simply out of space. And if we leave them all, we’ll have at least 20 more cats to fix…that’s IF they all survive to breeding age.

With so many larger, well-known organizations focused on shelter pulling instead of TNR, and continuing to promote the myth that we can adopt our way out of this crisis…all while our shelters still sit overflowing - there is no help for the cats on the streets. There’s no safety net in situations like this beyond local groups or individuals, and there’s a point where that is no longer sustainable.

If you can commit to fostering for a few weeks or a month - or even lend a bathroom or small space for an emergency situation - please head to the link in our bio to fill out a foster application.

Temporary Foster Needed! 🤎🤍

This silly boy showed up out of the blue in ’s yard a couple of weeks ago, so she quickly got him on a feeding schedule to keep him coming around. She’s posted on multiple sites and spoken to neighbors, but so far - no luck connecting with a possible owner.

He is already neutered, not microchipped, and we’ll be getting him de-flead, boosted, and combo tested.

We would love to get this angel safely off the streets, but we currently don’t have any available fosters. We’re also facing what feels like an endless stream of friendly adults, kittens, and even some adoption returns - which will be challenging in itself.

If you can help, even for a short time, please get in touch!

How handsome is Louie! ✨

After spending most of his life yowling and slinking through the shadows of neighboring yards, this elusive guy was finally trapped for TNR. The homeowner had worked for months to earn his trust and unbeknownst to us, Louie turned out to be friendly. We confirmed he was not an owned pet and lucky for us, a foster-to-adopt was quickly found so he didn’t have to go back to the streets. However, it turns out it’s not quite the right fit for forever.

We need to take Louie back on Monday, but he needs a new foster or adopter ASAP! He’s FIV/FeLV negative and gets along with other cats, although he can sooometines be a little bossy. If you or someone you know can foster Louie, PLEASE get in touch.
