Today, we proudly celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America and honor the enduring principles of liberty, justice, and opportunity that have shaped our nation.

As members of the National Latino Peace Officers Association, we are proud to serve our communities, uphold the Constitution, and continue the legacy of those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country’s freedoms.

On this historic milestone, we remember the sacrifices of our nation’s founders, our military, first responders, and all those who have worked to build a stronger, safer America.

From all of us at the NLPOA, we wish you and your families a safe, joyful, and patriotic Independence Day celebration.

Proud to see POPA leadership represented by President Steve Johnson, Executive Director Wayne Quint, and Sgt. Ibarra, joined by our member Hank Aguilar of NLPOA ELA. Events like these provide a great opportunity to strengthen relationships, support our law enforcement community, and enjoy a day of camaraderie and fellowship.

Every month, our NLPOA East Los Angeles board members come together with one goal in mind, to serve our community.
These dedicated volunteers give their time, energy, and heart to organize events, build connections, and create meaningful opportunities for the families, fellow officers, and residents of East Los Angeles. No paycheck. Just purpose.

At our most recent meeting, we were joined by local business owner Mr. Ron Mukai of East LA Jiu Jitsu, who shared his story and the role his business plays in this community. But the moment that stayed with us was hearing directly from a family whose life was positively impacted by the work of NLPOA ELA.
This is why we show up. This is why it matters.

Do you love to golf? Well you're in luck because our annual golf tournament is coming this November. Last year we had a full house and we expect to see many of you again this year.
