Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the lives forever changed by the tragedy of September 11, 2001.

Today, the National Latino Peace Officers Association honors the 2,977 innocent lives lost, the brave first responders who ran toward danger, and the families who continue to carry the memory of their loved ones in their hearts.

Their courage, sacrifice, and service will never be forgotten.

25 years later. We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🕊️🇺🇸

Today, the National Latino Peace Officers Association – East LA Chapter had the opportunity to celebrate and recognize the dedicated members who make our organization stronger.

Our members give their time, energy, and commitment to serving their communities and supporting one another. Today was about showing our appreciation for everything they do—not only as peace officers, but as mentors, leaders, and members of our community.

Today, we proudly celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America and honor the enduring principles of liberty, justice, and opportunity that have shaped our nation.

As members of the National Latino Peace Officers Association, we are proud to serve our communities, uphold the Constitution, and continue the legacy of those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country’s freedoms.

On this historic milestone, we remember the sacrifices of our nation’s founders, our military, first responders, and all those who have worked to build a stronger, safer America.

From all of us at the NLPOA, we wish you and your families a safe, joyful, and patriotic Independence Day celebration.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸🎆
