GPALA A place for clinicians and educators to advance training and research in group therapy and group dynamics

Members of GPALA are joining a community of professionals who provide mutual support, encouragement, networking, and professional growth and who are dedicated to the highest standards of practice, collegiality, and professional development. GPALA is committed to serving our membership and the community of mental health professionals by providing:
*An inter-disciplinary forum for professionals involved in the use of group psychotherapy for the enhancement of mental health.

*Educational programs on a regular basis for our membership and other group mental health practitioners

We are honored to partner with Open Path Counseling Center Open Paths Counseling Center, whose work expands access to low-cost mental health services and supports clinicians working with high-acuity and marginalized populations. This internal training focuses on practical, trauma-informed approaches to facilitating group therapy, with attention to structure, safety, and clinical decision-making.
