Since its establishment in 1978, Glendale Homenetmen "Ararat" Chapter's Scouting Division has been instilling the values of teamwork and leadership. The Scouting Division's main objective is to help scouts develop character, citizenship, knowledge of Armenian culture and personal fitness, and acquire scouting knowledge. This program provides an environment that promotes personal growth while at the same time encouraging strong values and morals that will serve the scouts for the rest of their lives. It is with immense pride that we celebrate K. Sareen Armenian and her family, including former members of the Homenetmen Ararat Scouting family, as they reached the summit of Mount Ararat. 🏔️🇦🇲

From the trails of Ararat Chapter to the summit of Ararat itself, we could not be prouder to see members of our scouting family carry the spirit, values, and legacy of Homenetmen to such an incredible height. Their achievement is a testament to the strength, perseverance, and love for our homeland that we strive to instill in every scout.

Today, the Ararat Scouting family proudly stands with the Armenian family as they stand atop the mountain that has inspired generations. ❤️⚜️🇦🇲
