WorldWalker Foundation The WorldWalker Foundation helps youth better understand the world and themselves by providing resources for local and global travel. Walker (1958-2011).

The WorldWalker Foundation is named in remembrance of David A. He is a father to three children, D'Andre, Devin, and Donovan, and was a father figure to the many youth he interacted with in the community. Walker often took his children and their friends traveling at a young age to expose them to the world outside of urban Los Angeles, instilling in them a desire to "pay attention to the world," so

they could change it for the better. Devin Walker, the Founder, had numerous opportunities to study abroad during his undergraduate years at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. His most transformational experience abroad came on a hike during his first time studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa in 2007. Upon arriving at the peak of Lion’s Head Mountain, he set a goal to help other Brown and Black kids travel the world. Ten years later, Devin founded The WorldWalker Foundation. We believes international educational experiences build confidence in Black and Brown adolescents and prepare them to meet the many challenges confronting their community and the world at large!
