Recent research shows that modular and prefab housing can reduce the overall completion time of a new residence by more than 50%, with some options completed in weeks rather than the months traditional construction requires. As wildfire impacted communities rebuild, prefab and modular options both cost-effective and built with materials that are both sustainable and resilient. This is important for fire survivors, and also key in the broader pursuit of solving the housing crisis.
