Forget the quiet clinics every dental pro has that one patient story that lives rent-free in their head forever. What’s yours? 🤣

Kenya is more than wildlife it’s culture, rhythm and connection.

From powerful Maasai songs to traditional dances and stories passed through generations, experiencing Maasai culture gives you a deeper connection to Kenya.

When you travel to Kenya, don’t just come for the wildlife. Take time to meet the people, listen to their stories, learn their traditions and experience Kenya beyond the safari vehicle.
Because sometimes the moments you remember most aren’t the animals you spotted… they’re the people you met along the way.
Would you include a Maasai cultural experience on your Kenya safari? YES or ABSOLUTELY?

Some stories begin with a smile. This one began with fear.
In a vulnerable moment, she needed more than treatment she needed to feel safe. So one of our Safari N Smiles volunteers stayed close.
A hand became reassurance. A hug became trust. And fear slowly turned into connection.
We can count the patients we treat, but how do you measure a moment like this?
Sometimes changing a life starts with simply being there.
Come for the mission. Leave with a story that stays with you.

💔 IN LOVING MEMORY OF SHARON NKONGE

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of Sharon Nkonge, a member of our Safari N Smiles and Nesh Tours & Safaris family.

Sharon passed away following complications from injuries sustained in a recent accident.

During her time with us, Sharon played an important role in welcoming and supporting our guests traveling to Kenya. She worked behind the scenes helping coordinate journeys, supporting our missions and safaris, and sharing many memorable experiences with our team, volunteers, and guests from around the world.

We had been praying, hoping, and believing for her recovery, which makes this news incredibly difficult to process.

Today, we simply pause to remember Sharon and the life that has been lost far too soon.

Our deepest condolences go to her family, friends, and everyone who loved her. We pray that God gives them strength, comfort, and peace as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

To our Safari N Smiles and Nesh Tours community who knew and interacted with Sharon, please keep her family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace, Sharon. 🙏🏾💔

The journeys may end, but the memories we create together remain with us forever.

Innovation can make a real difference in the field

One of the highlights from RDHUOR was seeing firsthand the incredible innovation happening in dentistry.

For Safari N Smiles, tools like these go beyond technology they have the potential to help our volunteers work more efficiently, improve patient care, and reach more people during our Mission Safaris, especially in communities where resources are limited.

We truly appreciate the minds and companies creating solutions that make dentistry more accessible, efficient, and impactful.

Innovation in the clinic today can create healthier smiles in the mission field tomorrow.
