The Homenetmen scouting program features regular troop activities, field trips to local attractions, outdoor scouting expeditions and camping trips, organized and executed by volunteers. In addition to regular activities, scouts from the Homenetmen Western USA have regularly participated in world jamborees.F
or each of its 2,000 Armenian American scouts, Homenetmen offers the opportunity to earn badges and medals in their areas of interest, as well as learning more about the Armenian culture while developing a sense of social and moral responsibility. The Homenetmen Athletic Program
Homenetmen in the Western USA has over 6,000 athletic members. These athletes compete in local league competitions, as well as major regional athletic programs. Once again, these programs are organized and implemented with the help of many selfless parent volunteers, who help put programs together for basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field, tennis, swimming, gymnastics, karate and table tennis.The Homenetmen athletic program eschews the spirit of competition, sportsmanship and teamwork, while it instills a strong sense of individual identity.
