Applications are now open for 2027 Festival Grants from the Levitt Family Foundation, providing up to $5,000 in funding to U.S.-based nonprofits presenting free outdoor festivals that feature live music in public spaces!

Levitt AMP 29 Palms Music kicked off the second half of their concert series this past weekend 🌴 Highlighting the impact of their first season so far, the Coachella Valley Independent interviewed Audrey Philpot, chair of the 29 Palms Music Committee, who led the effort applying for the 2026-2028 Levitt Music Series Grant.

October is packed with free outdoor music and community celebrations across the country!

⭐️ The power of cross-sector partnerships in action ⭐️

When Communities First, Inc. needed a high quality, working stage for their 2026 Levitt AMP Flint Music Series, its network of partners got creative 🎶

Designed by longtime sound manager Bryce Mata and built using discounted materials provided by a local lumber company, Levitt AMP Flint's new stage was a true community effort. Thanks to a longstanding relationship with Communities First, Inc., members of General Motors' skilled trades team joined volunteer support local builder Ray Sinclair and CFI construction manager Aqeel Aldaffaie for a three-day build completed just before opening night.

The result is more than a stage. It's a testament to what’s possible when local partners across sectors come together around a shared vision—creating a space for live music, community connection, and more joyful moments in Flint 💚

Cue the joy! This summer, Levitt venue staff and board members from across the country, along with members of the Levitt Family Foundation team and board, gathered in Sioux Falls to learn, explore, and experience how Levitt Sioux Falls realizes the Levitt program in their community. From behind-the-scenes tours to inspiring presentations, to ample opportunities to connect, each day culminated in an unforgettable free concert.

Each site visit is a chance to connect with local partners, experience the concerts firsthand, and celebrate the people activating these joyful community spaces! 📸❤️
