Subject: Successful Organization of Kabul Provincial Parkour Selection Competition – December 15, 2024
On Sunday, December 15, 2024, the Kabul Provincial Parkour Selection Competition was successfully held with the participation of 200 athletes from various clubs across Kabul city. The event took place in an enthusiastic atmosphere and featured three age categories (teenagers, youth, and adults) and three different disciplines (classic parkour, freerunning, and speed parkour).
The primary objectives of this competition were to identify top talents for participation in national competitions and to foster a healthy competitive environment. At the end of the event, 12 outstanding athletes from each age category were selected to form Kabul’s provincial team.
The competition received widespread appreciation from spectators and parkour enthusiasts, highlighting the remarkable progress of parkour in Afghanistan. The top athletes were recognized and honored with certificates of appreciation and medals.
The leadership of the National Freerunning and Parkour Federation expressed its gratitude to all supporters, sports clubs, and organizers of the event. The federation reaffirmed its commitment to promoting parkour and supporting its growth in the future.

This competition demonstrated that parkour in Afghanistan has a bright future. With continued support, it is possible to nurture exceptional talents and present them at national and international levels.
