Looking for an awesome self guided sight seeing tour of Hollywood Blvd???

A trip down Hollywood Boulevard blends cinematic history with vibrant geek culture. It offers a clear, walkable route packed with landmarks.
GRAUMAN'S CHINESE THEATRE: : Step into the famous concrete courtyard to compare your hands and feet with Hollywood legends.

HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME: Stroll east along Hollywood Blvd to search for your favorite actors, musicians, and fictional characters.
You will pass by the historic Roosevelt Hotel and the Dolby Theatre (home of the Oscars).
Photo Ops include: a fantastic framing of the distant Hollywood Sign from the nearby public viewing decks.
CAPITOL RECORDS: famous for looking exactly like a stack of vinyl records topped with a turntable stylus. Look at the base of the tower to find music-specific Walk of Fame stars, including John Lennon and Garth Brooks.

SCUM & VILLAINY CANTINA (aka THE STAR WARS BAR): This
intergalactic geek bar immerses you in a dark, neon-lit sci-fi safehouse complete with mist and space-age decor. It's just like the Cantina in Star Wars!

DAY 2 of the 2026 Great American Beard and Moustache Championship weekend!

FRIDAY 8/28 12PM

As promised, we are filling theto the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

It is the closest you can get to walking the red carpet without having an agent or a multi-million dollar contract. Located on the historic Miracle Mile, this massive monument to cinema is a thrilling, interactive playground for anyone who has ever loved a movie.

The museum houses a mind-blowing collection of authentic movie artifacts that will make yo weekend with many "LA Activities" including this visit m The Wizard of Oz

• The detailed, Intricate creature suits from Star Wars, Alien, and Marvel films

We will meet at 12pm in the courtyard out front.
Tickets are $25 general admission.

There are other museums you can visit while there at the complex:

The Petersen Auto Museum is across the street

LACMA, the LA County Museum of Art, is next door, as well as the new David Geffen gallery!
