Dennis Rupp (Leporello) is an American bass opera singer admired for his resonant voice, versatility, and long-standing artistic contributions. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, he has built a distinguished career performing major roles including Méphistophélès, Sarastro, Don Basilio, Leporello, Don Alfonso, Prince Gremin, and Colline—a role he also sang at the Shanghai International Arts Festival. He created the role of Heinrich Skuller in Alva Henderson’s Nosferatu for Opera Idaho, and a televised performance of his Méphistophélès earned an L.A. Emmy Award. His work has taken him across the United States and Europe, with concert engagements featuring Mozart’s Requiem, Haydn’s St. Theresa Mass, and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Rupp has also been active in opera education and community outreach, including performances with LA Opera Outreach and an appearance in their film The Prospector. His career further includes participation in creative projects such as work connected to Carlisle Floyd’s re-envisioning of The Passion of Jonathan Wade. In addition to his work onstage, he made his directorial debut with productions of Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Mozart’s The Impresario, demonstrating a breadth of talent that has made him a respected figure both in performance and production.

Soprano Leela Subramaniam (Zerlina) has sung with some of the world’s most prestigious houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Bavarian State Opera, Gärtnerplatz Theater, Theater Basel, Irish National Opera, LA Opera, and at Carnegie Hall. A winner of the Bjorn Eklund Scholarship, she was a member of the Bavarian State Opera studio as a young artist. She was the 1st prize winner of the Joan Taub Ades Competition, as well as a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition, Tenor Viñas Competition, Giulio Gari Foundation, and the Zinka Milanov International Competition. Passionate about new music, Leela has performed in five world premieres. In the upcoming season, Ms. Subramaniam will be performing the title role in the world premiere of Minnesota Opera’s The Many Death of the Laila Starr by Kamala Sankaram. Previous roles in the past two seasons include the Governess in the Turn of the Screw, the title role in Handel’s first opera Rodrigo, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro with Portland Opera, and Veronica in the world premiere of Richard Danielpour’s The Grand Hotel Tartarus. She has performed recently in Pauline Oliveros’ Bye Bye Butterfly with Long Beach Opera, Kamala Sankaram’s Thumbprint with Portland Opera, Turan in Threshold of Brightness by Iranian composer Niloufar Nourbakhsh with Beth Morrison Projects and Contemporaneous at National Sawdust, the title role in Kamala Sankaram’s virtual reality opera Miranda with Tri-Cities Opera and the Contemporaneous ensemble, and with the LA Philharmonic in a workshop as Marzelline in Fidelio with Deaf West Theater. Her past performed roles include the title roles in Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti) and Thais (Massenet), Pamina (Die Zauberflote/Mozart), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni/Mozart) with Heartbeat Opera, Miss Wordsworth (Albert Herring/Britten) with the Bavarian State Opera, Soeur Constance (Dialogues of the Carmelites/Poulenc), and Angelica (Orlando Paladino/Haydn). As a young artist, she was also a Gerdine Young Artist with the Opera Theater of St. Louis and attended the Chautauqua Institution Voice Program.

Chase Yun (Il Commendatore) is an emerging bass-baritone who has recently entered the world of opera and has quickly developed a passion for the art form. He has enjoyed every opportunity to bring memorable characters to life on stage. His performance credits include Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, the Sacristan in Tosca, King Balthazar and King Melchior in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Pa McDaniels in Luke and Sarah, Tom in Un Ballo in Maschera, the Usher in Trial by Jury, and Norton in La cambiale di matrimonio. Chase looks forward to continuing to grow as a performer and sharing his love of opera with audiences through future productions.

Swedish soprano Emma Berggren (Donna Elvira) was recently awarded an Encouragement Grant from the Wagner Society of New York following her participation as a finalist in their Annual Singers Awards Competition. Emma has also been a finalist in the Bayreuth-Stipendium Wagner Society Gothenburg with GöteborgsOperan Vocal Competition, Semi-Finalist in Asociación de Amigos de la Ópera de Santiago de Compostela VIII Concurso Interancional De Canto Compostela Lírica, finalist in the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hennings-Fischer Foundation Young Artist Competition, and awarded the Margit Mechlers Musikstipendium. Operatic roles includes Tosca, Suor Angelica, Mimì (La Bohème), Violetta (La Traviata), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), Celestial Voice (Don Carlo), Countess Ceprano (Rigoletto), Mercédès (Carmen), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte) and Flower Maiden (Parsifal). Ms. Berggren has covered Senta (Der fliegende Holländer), Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly), Giorgetta (Il Tabarro), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Gertrude and the Gingerbread Witch (Hansel and Gretel). Concert highlights include Vier letzte Lieder by Richard Strauss, Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 by Villa-Lobos, Leonora (Il Trovatore), Aida and selections Madama Butterfly and Der Freischütz. Emma attended AIMS Opera Studio in Austria and has performed with Tundi Productions Wagner in Vermont, Pacific Lyric Association, Lyric Opera of Orange County, Palisades Symphony, Cabrillo Chamber Orchestra, Guild Opera Company, Ridgecrest Opera, Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society, Maestro Skanör Falsterbo Musikförening, Woodley Concert Corner, Mission Opera, Golden State Pops Orchestra, California Philharmonic and San Diego Opera Chorus.

Frank Watnick (Don Ottavio) is an emerging lyric tenor based in Los Angeles who has sung across the United States and abroad. A graduate of California State University Fullerton and Chapman University, he makes his joint Guild Opera Company and San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra debut as Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, a role he previously sang with the Opera Aeterna Windy City Operafest in Chicago. Operatic roles include Sam Kaplan in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene and Emperor Nerone in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea at CSUF, Basilio and Curzio in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with both Opera Aeterna, Bach Millennium Music, and the International Lyric Academy in collaboration with Opera Carolina, Lenski in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin with Opera Aeterna, Leukippos in Richard Strauss’ Daphne with Independent Opera Company, Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Bohème with Opera Italia Los Angeles, and Il Duca di Mantova in Verdi’s Rigoletto with La Musica Lirica. Frank’s 2025/26 season saw him join Pacific Opera Project covering Lorenzo and the title role in Auber’s Fra Diavolo and Pang in Puccini’s Turandot, return to Opera Aeterna to sing Vaudémont in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta and reprise Rodolfo in La Bohème, and return to Opera Italia Los Angeles to cover Tebaldo in Bellini’s I Capuleti e I Montecchi and later to sing Alfred in Johann Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus. He will soon make his role debut as Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with Bach Millennium Music and the Berlin Opera Academy in Germany. Frank has also won and placed in several competitions, including Absolute 1st place in the Special Venue Music Awards, 2nd place in the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition, 3rd place in CSUF’s Music Associates Solo Competition, and was also a finalist in the Redlands Bowl Young Artist Vocal Competition. Upcoming engagements will include covering Il Conte d’Almaviva in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia with Opera Italia Los Angeles, and his return to Lyric Opera of Orange County as Malcom in Verdi’s Macbeth.

A native of Belfast, Northern Ireland, baritone Adam McCrory (Masetto) performs as a classical vocalist in Los Angeles and Southern California. He received a bachelor’s from UCLA and more recently a Master in Vocal Performance from CSUN. Opera credits include Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Schaunard (La Bohème), Angelotti (Tosca), Frank Maurrant (Street Scene), Pantalone (The Love for Three Oranges), the Clock and the Black Cat (L’enfant et les sortilèges), Marco (Gianni Schicchi), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), as well as the title role in The Prospector, a children’s opera based on Puccini’s La fanciulla del west and presented by LA Opera Connects. He also works regularly with the Guild Opera school education program, featuring as principal roles in Little Red Riding Hood by Seymour Barab and Alice in Wonderland by Chauls. Mr. McCrory performs as a professional chorister with the Opera Santa Barbara Chorus as well as a section leader with The Verdi Chorus in Santa Monica, in addition to working locally as a choral soloist.
