Why would I send my daughter to another state for schooling? Have I lost my mind?
Well, let me share with you what has happened for my daughter, Brenna...
She was behind in school. She spent 50% of her time with me and 50% with her dad. She missed OVER 30 days of school every year. I knew she had gaps in what she had learned.
She really struggled with the kids and how they were living their lives. She was always upset about the things her friends were getting involved in. Her friends were have major problems and she felt like she was the only one who was there for all her friends.
I wanted her to be able to THRIVE and be in an environment where she was not the only kid that wanted to do what it took to have a successful life - not just a normal life.
She has THRIVED at Dlephi!!! She is doing amazing things and making life happen.
THIS IS WHAT SHE DID THIS YEAR:
BrennaWyn kicked it this year! She was on the honor roll all year, had 100% attendance every month but one, was in charge of running pizza day once a week all year, did tutoring for kids in the community helping them get their grades up so they could pass, was part of Music Cafe where she rapped like a rock star, played Scar in Lion King, was part of the Model United Nations team who went to New York to a mock session representing global issues and was just freaking amazing! I couldn't be a prouder momma!
