Deity Animal Rescue and Foundation Deity Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit rescue organization based in Los Angeles. Dogs saved her so it’s only right that she save dogs.

We amplify the stories of shelter dogs, support life-saving spay and neuter programs, and help vulnerable animals find safety, visibility, and second chances. When bringing dogs into Deity we do not discriminate on age, breed or ease of placement. Rather, we choose dogs based on temperament and potential to be wonderful companions. We adhere to a comprehensive adoption process which includes findi

ng the best possible match for each dog and performing home checks. Our mission is to educate and empower people of all ages as to how they can make a difference in the lives of animals in their communities. We target the importance of pet sterilization, animal welfare, and why it is a good idea to adopt from a shelter or rescue rather than buy from a breeder.

Ellen rescued Vida, the first official Deity dog, in 2007. Lindsay joined Ellen in her efforts when a major health scare made her reevaluate life and the gift of health and happiness. Dogs served a key roll in her recovery and she strives to share the healing power of dogs with others.

OUR HORSE TRAILER HAS BEEN STOLEN. What was our Treatery by Deity Animal Rescue had evolved into Community Effort Animal Rescue ‘s wellness trailer, located in Palmdale, Ca. Last night between the hours of 11pm and 7am this morning, thefts came in, ripped off her wheels that had locks on them and dragged her out of the Littlerock Pet Clinic parking lot.

The trailer is very unique looking and has our deity animal rescue and Community Effort Animal Rescue logos, plus the Caravita Foundation logo as well.

Police report filed. A huge thank you to LAPD Pacific Division Officer Anderson at the Pacific Area LAPD. So grateful.

I give you this. A happy update from Hannah. …

Sweet boy got his stitches out today and vet said he’s perfect! My mom Amie Lynn Losi has absolutely fallen in love with him, says all the time that he is the best dog and cannot believe someone abandoned him because he can do no wrong.

That being said, he’s officially found his home with her, she can’t imagine not having him. Chips is officially Ricky and he now has a forever last name: Losi ❤️.

Can’t believe how lucky our family is with him now in it, and we are so, so, so grateful to Deity’s village for their support getting him healthy and set up for his happiest life ever.

You guys, it takes a Village. And we are so blessed by you. ✨

* UPDATE * ADOPTED! *15 years old. I’ll never understand it. Reason for surrender: “No tengo espacio donde tenerlo”. She lived 100% outdoors, did not live with other pets, and lived with kids of all ages. She is low energy and friendly. Final notice expires 8/14.
