APIC SPS is excited to host a day long celebration event in honor of AANHPI Heritage Month to help celebrate and uplift the beautiful cultures and contributions of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.

May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. This month- long celebration is a chance to celebrate the diversity of cultures, breadth of achievement, and to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders!

APIC SPS, in partnership with the City of Olympia and Lacey, South Puget Sound Community College, and many local community organizations, are excited to host a day long celebration event in honor of AANHPI Heritage Month.

You are invited to help celebrate and uplift the beautiful cultures and contributions of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.

Several of our community member representatives participated in the Olympia and Tumwater City Council meetings last night, May 5, to accept the proclamation of AANHPI Heritage month!

So grateful to our two cities council members who presented the proclamation! Happy and proud to see many of our community members show up and help celebrate our AANHPI Heritage month!

What a great two- day DEIB Summit at the Lacey South Puget Sound Community College campus. Proud to be part of the planning Group to put this together! So wonderful to have the opportunity to hear from five tribal government representatives and the Thurston county and tri-cities elected officials to share their updates!

May is AANHPI Heritage Month! WE ARE HAPPY TO SHARE THAT OLYMPIA, LACEY, AND TUMWATER AS WELL AS Thurston County ARE ALL GOING TO BE RECOGNIZING AND PROCLAMMING MAY AS AANHPI HERITAGE month! APIC SPS is excited to partner in collaboration with the cities, county, and state agencies, as well as local community organizations to co-host the upcoming DEIB Summit event. The event will be held on May 1 and 2, this Friday and Saturday, at the South Puget Sound Community College Lacey Campus. Please register by the end of today for this event.

This two-day summit is dedicated to strengthening collaboration across Thurston County to build each other up as we strive to encourage one another in creating communities of equity and belonging.
