📣This week, the EPA released $2.9 billion to help states identify and replace the lead pipes impacting millions of U.S. residents. The funding comes from the $15 billion the Biden Administration reserved for lead pipe replacement, while the current administration proposes a 90% cut to the Drinking Water State Revolving Funds crucial for infrastructure improvements.

Many families with lead pipes turn to purchasing plastic bottled water, which is costly for their wallet, health, and the planet. Communities need immediate access to safe water without toxic lead or plastic pollution, and filters are the critical interim solution.

With thousands of PFAS in drinking water, now is not the time to roll back the protections that were there—but that’s exactly what the U.S. government just did. This week, the EPA announced it would repeal limits and delay regulations on PFAS “forever chemicals” in drinking water, putting public health at risk. 👉 Read the latest developments here: https://bit.ly/4eWRoHA

🍌 Plastic packaging dominates food and beverages in the United States—and it comes with hidden health costs.

🔬 It can shed microplastics and leach toxic chemicals into your food and drink. Yet despite evidence of harm, federal oversight is lacking.

Consumers deserve safer packaging and stronger protections.

✍🏾 Tell legislators to restrict this plastic packaging now: https://bit.ly/noplasticpackaging-action-alert
