🌎 The world is coming to Los Angeles in 2028. Let’s show them what a truly sustainable Olympic and Paralympic Games can look like.

🥤❌ Millions of spectators shouldn’t mean millions of disposable cups, bottles, and containers used once and thrown away. The Don’t Waste the Games campaign is calling on LA28 and its sponsors, partners, and venues to choose reuse: reusable cups and foodware, water refill stations, and the freedom for fans and athletes to bring their own reusable bottles.

✍🏽 Add your name and tell LA28: Don’t Waste the Games.

Plastic pollutes. Champions don’t.

🐱 Sadly, even our furry loved ones aren’t immune to the pollution that companies have created.

🔬Clean Label Project tested more than 100 of the nation’s top-selling cat food products and found that 99% of them contained contaminants. The study found an array of pollutants, including plasticizers, herbicides, and heavy metals.

🐈‍⬛ 99% of the tested cat foods contained lead. Additional contaminants included glyphosate in 37% of samples, cadmium in 96%, and arsenic in 94% of products tested.

🐈 As our world becomes increasingly inundated with plastic and toxic chemicals, uncontrolled pollution is putting our pets at risk. Learn more at: https://cleanlabelproject.org/cat-food-category-tested-products/

🏛️ Plastic Pollution Coalition's Executive Director Julia Cohen and Policy Manager Rachel Bustamante rallied on Capitol Hill to call on Congress to protect our food from plastic.

It’s up to our lawmakers to act‼️

It’s that time of year, again! 👻 You can get into the spooky spirit without the dreadful plastic waste. 🦇 The majority of Halloween costumes are made from synthetic plastic and trashed after just one use, so let’s think outside the coffin and make it a low-waste Halloween. ⚰️

Here are a few tips!
🧟 SHOP YOUR CLOSET: Bring your old clothes back to life and shop your own closet for costume ideas.

🕷️ RENT: Don’t let your outfit die each year; try a costume rental shop.

🎃 BORROW: Harvest your costume parts from friends to see what you can concoct.

💀 We’re dying to hear from you. Share your tips for a low-waste costume in the comments.
