Hi everyone — Greg Lovett and I (Justin Berenbaum) want to send a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Video Game Supper Club this year.
It was a challenging year for many of us. It started with the wildfires that impacted so many locally in Los Angeles, and continued with a rough year for a lot of the amazing folks that make up our industry. Coming together around a table became to reconnect across business, funding, and career conversations that truly matter felt even more important.
We had some memorable highlights this year: jumping right back in with our annual DICE dinner, discovering our new DTLA foodie home at Majordomo, leveling up our K-BBQ night in Koreatown, and returning to Montreal for MIGS.
This year also sparked a deeper focus on the creative heart of our industry. A special thank-you to Glen Schofield who joined us at our last dinner and inspired a powerful conversation about the importance of art and storytelling. Looking ahead, we plan to further integrate industry artists into VGSC—potentially including artwork, small exhibitions, and even a refreshed VGSC logo and visual identity.
Finally, while VGSC is not a profit-seeking venture, we want to sincerely thank Alex Voxman at Latham & Watkins for standing alongside us as a sponsor—helping bring clients and executives to the table who might not otherwise have discovered our little underground dinner club.
Thank you again for being part of this community. We’re grateful for each of you and excited for what’s ahead.
Warm wishes and happy New Year,
Greg & Justin 🎄🥂
