Everything you consume falls under one of the 5 Elements, which is based upon the 5 Element Theory of ancient China. Dear Ones,
In 1984 I had the good fortune to attend a weekend workshop on balancing one's diet using the Chinese 5-element theory. The Chinese 5-element theory forms the foundation of work done with both Chinese acupuncture medicine and feng shui. The 5 elements comprise: wood, fire
, earth, metal and water. In the workshop, we learned about the qualities and dynamics of each element, and how all the foods, herbs, spices that we consume vibrationally fall into one of the element categories (or a combination thereof). Over the years, I've had a chance to learn which foods fall into which elements, how the elements interact with one another via control and nourishment cycles, and have successfully integrated this knowledge into my consciousness. However, it wasn't until 2014 that I received the revelational awareness of tailoring the Chinese 5-element theory to my own body's unique chemistry. I facilitated the process by using applied kinesiology (muscle testing) to evaluate which elements nourish my body the most, and which elements nourish my body the least (meaning that my body may not need as much of a certain element, and that this element could potentially cause my body to go out of balance). Using this form of ranking the elements, I can honestly share that my health has improved. I truly feel that I am using my food as a way to keep my body more healthy and balanced! I am offering everyone the opportunity to receive the list of foods and botanicals corresponding to each element. If you would like to learn more about how to better utilize the Chinese 5-element theory diet balancing plan and to get muscle-tested for the ranking of the elements, then please get in touch with me at (323) 799-6431 or at [email protected]. I am doing this work as a service as I believe it is highly valuable for anyone who is open to it, and I am open to receiving donations for this work. I am available to do consultations for those who would like to receive this service, which includes doing the applied kinesiology and providing information about how the Chinese 5-element theory works. I am available in person, by phone, or via a Skype connection. Below, I've listed the major benefits that can come by knowing the elemental origins of each food or botanical remedy:
• Knowing how to balance one's body using food and/or botanical remedies using the 5-element theory 1) control cycle and 2) nourishment cycle.
• Being aware that varying one's diet with foods from different elements can balance the body (as opposed to getting stuck in a rut with always eating the same foods).
• Being aware that each season of the year corresponds to a certain element, and then listening to our bodies to find out which foods nourish our bodies best during each change of season. About Michael Rhodes:
