“Ellis Tyler Cobb • Today, a judge declared us forever family. We hope Ellis looks back on this day and sees how loved and adored she is, and that her people came from near and far to celebrate this day with her.
We are excited for our future with her and honored to be her parents, but the joy we feel today is accompanied by the grief of what she has lost. As a village we prayed for her future as well as her biological parents and siblings. What an honor. What a special day.”

“I became a mom years ago when I met and fell in love with this beautiful, brown baby who had the best gummy smile that lit up the room, but today, it became real.

Today, I had my first baby.

Thank you Otis for always trusting me with Bex, and trusting me enough to share her with me. Thank you Kelsey for always viewing me as Bexley’s mom when you were still with us. Thank you for trusting me with her, and ultimately, giving her to me. We’ll honor and love you always.

Thank you to our friends and family for always loving and supporting us! 💛”

“This time 2 years ago, we were taking photos at a park near home for our adoption profile book. Then on this day 1 year ago, we got the call that we were matched with our birth mom. And it’s been magic ever since✨
We went back to this same park wearing the same outfits for our finalization photos back in March to recreate the photos, and we’re still in awe and disbelief to see how much our lives have changed in such a short time. 💕”

Our special day is here!! Celina Legacy Fremer “CiCi” is officially adopted and we can show her beautiful face to match her beautiful personality. She is our whole world 🌎. We are overjoyed and dreamed about this day for years! This has been a long 2 years in the foster care system, and dreams really do come true ✨. Thank you to all our family and friends who have supported and encouraged us on this journey. We did not give you life dear CiCi, but life has given us the gift 💝 of you!”

When Travis and I met and started dating 12 years ago, we both expressed early on that adoption was a deep desire of both of our hearts. 11 years of marriage, 3 daughters, and 7 moves later that dream is about to become a reality.

In September, we boarded a plane to Colombia to bring home our sweet 4th daughter!

While this 4-year process has felt so long at times, we are unbelievably grateful to AdoptTogether for being a safe place where friends and family have been able to share their love and support through financial partnership. Throughout this adoption, one of the sweetest unforeseen blessings were the unexpected emails we would receive from AdoptTogether announcing that we were one step closer to bringing our child home because a gift has been given towards our family. Each gift came with words of love, support and truth, each of which we cherished and spurred us forward.

"My son’s dad and I had met through visits during the ten months N spent in foster care. During this time, we slowly built a supportive relationship around the desire to make sure N was always loved and safe. When N was almost two, the courts determined it was time for reunification and I packed up all of his toys, clothes, and lovies and placed him into the social worker’s minivan. This was the absolute hardest day within our journey. At this point, I was unsure if I would ever see N’s cute face, snuggle him close, and hear his adorable giggle again. A few weeks of silence passed, and then N’s dad reached out to see if I would like a visit because N was missing me. I immediately said YES! And continued saying yes each time he would reach out over the next year. These visits became more and more regular. N was thriving in this new scenario. Really, we were all thriving.

One evening as the sun was going down, N’s dad and I were standing under a tree in my backyard. While N was running around laughing with his bio brother, N’s dad asked if I would like to be N’s forever mama through adoption. It was a day just like any other day, but a moment that has completely changed our lives in the best way. Today, N has found stability through two homes that absolutely love and adore him. He LOVES getting to spend time with both his daddy and his mama.

A message from my son’s father to other bio parents: 'If anyone ever finds themselves a 55 year old single father with a new beautiful baby boy like N, don’t worry. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. There are great people out there who love to help. I found them.'"

“Adoption Day!🎉
October 11th was such a JOYFUL day! In the days after I felt anxious, waiting for the other shoe to drop. After 19 months of reporting and documenting and texting case workers about every little thing, it felt so surreal to parent Vannah without supervision. Now reality has started to set in and such a weight has been lifted. I just get to be her Mama — no strings attached. Pinch me!!😭💗”

“Seventeen years ago this week our eldest daughter, Mitzi, was placed in our arms forever. You can see how grumpy she is in this photo. She’d been in a bus with a bunch of crying babies for a few hours to get to the hotel in , where she would become our baby. She had no idea the journey we had taken to get to her

An email from a local church made Katie think about becoming a foster parent. At first, she fostered Grayson - a 4-days-old boy who was exposed to drugs and abandoned in the hospital. About a year later, Katie officially adopted him.

Just a few weeks after Grayson’s adoption, the same hospital asked the single mom if she would foster Hannah - another 4-days-old child.

Katie noticed the first name of the baby’s mother was the same as that of Grayson’s birth mother. This was too much of a coincidence so she requested a DNA test. She was stunned but at the same time delighted to discover that Grayson and Hannah were biological siblings.
