The Model Commandments 💯 The right people will always recognize real energy.
Some of the strongest people in this industry are the ones who kept going when nobody clapped for them.
This space is competitive, but it does not have to be cruel. There is room for support, room for kindness, room for community, and room for all of us to win with integrity.
These commandments are a reminder: protect your peace, celebrate others, stay humble, move with character, and never lose yourself trying to belong somewhere.

fam, this week celebrates my first national commercial debut 🎉 a little backstory - the character I played is a superstar artist that’s rejecting the ideas given by a tech company. I had to bring out my “diva” energy for this one. I loved this scene because I owed a yacht and as a black female lead, representation matters ♥️
Also- I had to deliver the lines like 500 times while racing (literally speeding) down Marina Del Rey. It was scary & fun!
I’ve added some throwback bts in my IG stories

Model fam, if you want longevity in this career, understand this early: it takes more than a good face and one strong season.

I’ve been in this industry for 15+ years, and the models who last are the ones who know how to evolve, stay professional, protect their reputation, keep growing with the times & never quit on themselves, even after opportunities are lost, doors are slammed and bookings are slow.

Remember this- your look may open the first door, but your mindset, consistency, and how you carry yourself are what keep doors opening.

This career is not only about getting noticed. It is about staying valuable to the industry, but most importantly to yourself.

If I could tell my younger self about getting started in the modeling industry…

1. Stop chasing what looks like success.

2. Half the game is knowing where you actually fit.

3. You do not need to be everyone’s type.
You need to be right for the right market.

4. Learn posing.
5. Learn your angles.
6. Learn professionalism.

7. Pretty fades into the background fast.

8. Presence, skill, and consistency get remembered.
9. Never beg for opportunities.

10. Build the kind of portfolio that gets you called.

Most beginners waste time trying to force the wrong lane. The real glow-up starts when you understand positioning, skill, and how the industry actually works.
