Atwater Village Neighborhood Council The Atwater Village Neighborhood Council holds its regular meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00.

Living in a walkable city is the dream, and being able to bike around safely is the goal. Los Angeles may be big, but our little village is the perfect spot to normalize car free transportation, and it starts with us.

Watch out for the extra bikers this month (and always), and consider biking next time you need to get around. It is a great example for the kids, it makes communities feel safer, and it’s great for the planet, so everybody benefits.

The Atwater Village Neighborhood Council is proud to support the Sunday Social by every 1st Sunday of the month from 11am-1pm

Outreach team and Services Desk will be on hand, as well as hot or iced coffee, pastries, homemade lunches, homemade cookies & hygiene items.

Thank you to Homey Made Meals for donating lunches for the social!

Bicycle Kitchen will be on hand to repair items with wheels!

Pastries will be from Proof Bakery in Atwater .

If you or anyone you know is in need of support, please invite them to the social.

Thanks for showing up, Atwater! We are so grateful that our neighbors came together to ensure we all get to experience a beautiful neighborhood. We love walking and biking and inviting friends to visit, so clean streets sure make a difference.

📅 Save the date! Next clean up is June 6th on La Clede and Larga. 9am. It’s a quick hour and a wonderful event to partake in. Look at the smiles!!

Happy Earth Day Atwater!

Though it’s Earth Day every day, today is a great day to connect with your friends, family, and neighbors to celebrate a plan of action to get involved in environmental progress.

If you need help with a plan, save the date and invite anyone and everyone to join us this Saturday at 9am on the corner of Glendale Blvd & Revere.

It’s only a one hour event, and we bring the tools, but you bring the guests. Bring water, hats, and sunscreen and get ready to clean!

Knowledge is power, and voting is powerful. As citizens of our community, we at the AVNC and District 13 Neighborhood Councils are working together to ensure you are informed, engaged, and empowered to ask questions.

Join us Thursday, April 30th at 5pm for the Los Angeles City Council District 13 candidate forum at Los Angeles City College. Forum begins at 6-8:45pm

Meet the candidates, understand where they stand on key issues, and engage in the democratic process. Free admission, pizza, drinks, childcare and parking. Spanish and ESL interpretation also available.
