Our summer camps continue, creating safe spaces where children can simply be children again.

This time, We Are Here is dedicated to children with limb loss in Gaza, bringing together young amputees for days of laughter, friendship, creativity, and play.

Through mental health and psychosocial support, recreational activities, and shared moments of joy, children find healing, a sense of belonging, and the reminder that they are not alone.

Despite everything they have endured, they still laugh, learn, and dream.

And together, we remind them of one simple truth: We, and our supporters from around the world, are always here for Palestine's children.💙

We built the Children’s Wing at Four Homes of Mercy - Jerusalem/Bethany brick by brick, creating a space where children with disabilities receive the care and support they deserve.

PCRF team is proud of this project and the many more to come, as we continue creating opportunities for all children of Palestine to heal, grow, and thrive. 💙

With every plan drawn and every brick laid, we thought of every child whose health will improve and every family who will find comfort knowing their child is receiving the care and support they deserve. 💙

With deep gratitude, we thank Four Homes of Mercy - Jerusalem/Bethany for all that they do, and everyone who helped bring the rehabilitation of the Children’s Wing to life and open its doors to children and their families in Palestine.

This dedicated centre for children with disabilities in Bethany fulfils a long-awaited need, creating a space for care, rehabilitation, and support for children and their caregivers.

Another summer, another space where healing begins through childhood. 💙

PCRF's second summer camp of the year is dedicated to children with limb loss in Gaza—bringing together young amputees for days filled with laughter, learning, friendship, and hope.

Through recreational activities, creative workshops, and structured mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), children are building confidence, expressing themselves, and connecting with others who truly understand their journey. Beyond the activities, they are rediscovering something every child deserves: the chance to play, make friends, and simply enjoy being a child.

Seeing these incredible children laughing together, encouraging one another, and creating joyful memories is a powerful reminder that healing is about so much more than physical recovery.

Every smile is a step toward resilience. Every friendship is a reminder that no child should face this journey alone. 💙

For so long, the world has seen Gaza's orphaned children through the heartbreak of war. This summer, at PCRF's summer camp for orphaned children, we were privileged to witness something different. We saw laughter replace fear, friendships blossom, confidence grow, and childhood shine through once again. Through play, creativity, health and psychosocial activities, these incredible children reminded us that joy can still find a way.

Seeing our children healthy, happy, confident, and full of life is one of the greatest gifts we could ever receive. To every child who shared their smile with us: thank you. Your joy was a gift to all of us. To our generous donors and partners, thank you for making these precious moments possible. Every child deserves the chance to heal, belong, and simply be a child again. ⭐

PCRF is transforming places marked by destruction into spaces where children can heal.

At Al Ahli Al Arabi Hospital (Al Ma'amadani) in Gaza City, PCRF transformed the damaged grounds of Al Basma Center into a therapeutic garden where children can play, participate in therapeutic activities, spend time with their families, and experience moments of comfort alongside their medical care.

More than 3,000 children are expected to benefit from this space every year, making it an important part of their physical and emotional recovery.

This project was made possible through the generosity of PCRF supporters around the world, with special thanks to our San Diego and Raleigh Chapters, whose donors funded 60% of the project.

Completing this project within an operating hospital and under extraordinarily difficult conditions was only possible through the dedication of our teams, partners, and supporters.

Because healing a child means more than treating an illness. It means creating places where recovery, therapy, and childhood can flourish—even in the midst of conflict. 💙
