Altadena Rotary April 9, 2026, was addressed by professional singer Brooke Lohman-Janz of Altadena Dining Club. She and her husband Michael were renters at the time of the Eaton Fire. Since the fire they have purchased an Altadena lot and are moving a 1895 Victorian home as their rebuild.

Altadena Rotary meeting of April 2, 2026, starred club member Paula Eckert singing the song "BINGO," causing us all dig deep in our elementary school memories. Then she gave her craft talk about her teaching at Jack London Continuation High Schools serving at risk students.

Rene Amy announced the Saturday April 18th, 2026 "First Annual Great Altadena Poppy Festival" between 10a to 4p at club members Sandra and Jose Valenzuela's Grocery Outlet parking lot.

Webster's Community Pharmacy owner Meredith Miller stopped by as a guest to announce the Centennial Celebration for their store on April 25, 2026, at noon in their store parking lot.

Club member Herb Agner gave his inspiration moment of Statesman and Civil Rights Activist John Lewis and his mission of "Getting in good trouble, necessary trouble, and (to) help redeem the soul of America."

Altadena Rotary had several prominent visitors. Dr. David Campbell brought his son Brad who has just joined his dentistry practice.

Past President Theo Clark joined the meeting. Treasurer Mike Noll took the occasion to laud the careers of members Ed Jasnow, Mike Zoeller, and Theo Clark. Mike Zoeller gave a stirring inspirational moment about how Altadena is now building back after the fire.

President Elect of the Monrovia Club Pat Halley was instrumental in getting her daughter to help our club get a grant from Boeing. Lisa Rickard met Pat at a recent President Elect Training Weekend.

Deanna de Vries led the song "Dock of the Bay."

Alistair Campbell was our speaker taking about his Sense of Home Disaster Recovery Program and was given a grant by our club to continue his good works of replacing furniture and housewares for victims of the Eaton Fire.

They were also competing for the chance to represent Altadena Rotary going forward.
