So grateful to be partnering with the Program this summer! 💛

Impact LA is excited to mentor a scholar during this year’s program and provide hands-on experience focused on community impact, food equity, youth development, and nonprofit leadership throughout Los Angeles.

All scholars will also have the opportunity to support community initiatives and events this summer, including volunteer opportunities connected to our annual Kobe Day Back to School Backpack Giveaway as we work to serve and uplift local youth and families. 🎒✨

We’re grateful for the opportunity to help guide and inspire the next generation of public health leaders through meaningful, real-world community work.

This event is for formerly incarcerated individuals and their families, a space to connect with resources, community, healing, and opportunity.

We’re bringing:
• 20+ resource organizations
• Free food box distribution
• Live performances
• Good food
• Re-entry and legal services
• FREE Metro TAP cards for those who qualify through the Metro LIFE Program 🚍

Eligible participants can receive:
• 20 free rides each month
• FREE rides for the first 90 days after enrollment

One thing we’ll always have is food. ❤️

Last year, Impact LA rescued over 1.1 million pounds of food, and this year we’ve doubled our goal to 2 million pounds! None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers, partners, and community members who show up day after day to help us fight food insecurity across Los Angeles.

Because of your dedication, families have access to fresh food, essential resources, and hope when they need it most. Thank you for helping us turn surplus into support and impact into action. 🙌🏾🥬📦
