USC WorldMed at UPC: A Global Health Initiative A club that strives to promote awareness of global health issues in local communities and enable its members to become leaders in the global health field.

WorldMed at UPC is a student-run organization with a sister chapter on the health sciences campus (HSC) at the University of Southern California (USC) that aims to create a platform in which undergraduates, graduates, prospective students, faculty, and staff can discuss and eliminate existing critical health challenges. WorldMed @ UPC is the only organization on campus with a direct branch of mast

ers and medical school students on the health sciences campus. Throughout our program, we do not only promote global health issues within the local community, but also seek opportunities to be the hand that creates a lasting sustainable difference across the globe. WorldMed @ UPC hopes that its comprehensive effort to address international health topics and promote awareness in communities will enable its members to make a sustainable impact on the global burden of disease.
