What an incredible afternoon at AAREP LA’s Behind the Deal: Stocker Street Creative.

We were honored to hear from Mayor Karen Bass; Sherri Franklin, President & CEO, and David Morrison, Project Coordinator, of Urban Design Center; and Yolanda “Cookie” Parker, Founder & CEO of The Urban Renaissance Group, who shared their vision for the future of South Los Angeles and the transformative impact of Stocker Street Creative.

Thank you to our NextGen leaders Jaylyn Borders, Kelsey Chine, Matthew Owens for helping lead the conversation and bring together diverse perspectives across commercial real estate.

A special thank you to James Daughrity, Principal Broker of Daughrity Real Estate, for hosting this behind-the-scenes experience and providing an inside look at the vision, partnerships, and development behind the project. Thank you as well to The Gathering Spot for partnering with AAREP LA and inviting members of its real estate network to join us.

It was inspiring to bring together students, community members, entrepreneurs, creators, architects, commercial real estate professionals, and civic leaders for meaningful conversations about the future of South Los Angeles.

Join us at 10:00 AM for a casual morning of connection and community as we walk, bike, skate, and roll through the city together.

CicLAvia is a free open streets event where major streets are closed to car traffic and open to the public for exploration by walking, biking, skateboarding, scooting, and use of mobility devices.

Saturday, July 11th : Join AAREP LA NextGen for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Stocker Street Creative, a transformative mixed-use creative campus rising in South Los Angeles.

Designed as a state-of-the-art production and community hub, the project brings together sound stages, creative office space, retail, and community programming to drive economic development and expand access to the entertainment industry.

This guided tour and presentation will serve as a real-world case study on how a complex, community-focused development comes together : from structuring the transaction and aligning capital to navigating partnerships, leasing strategy, and long-term property management.

The project is led by Stocker Street Creative: 4S Bay Partners, Daughrity Real Estate, and Pantheon Business Consulting.
