Update: transport found!! 🎉The day Bulma has been waiting for is finally here but we’ve been running into some major obstacles 💔 Bulma needs a ride from Yorba Linda to Primm Nevada. We know it’s a long drive but you would be doing such an amazing thing by helping a dog that’s been through hell and back a thousand times. We’ll pay for every dollar of gas money if you can help! 🥺 She has to get there tomorrow!!!! Please send us a DM!

HUGE thank you to everyone who donated to Coopers surgery after he’d been hit by a car. Because of you- this puppy gets to grow up 💕 He now just needs ONE last thing: a ride from his hospital in Studio City to his foster home in San Diego. Maybe there’s someone who can take him from Studio City to Corona and another person who can take him from Corona to San Diego. We can pay for every cent of your gas if you can help 🥺 we need someone today! Tomorrow will not work. If you can help, please DM us! If you can’t transport but would like to help, please consider donating to help with the cost of gas. To donate, please visit our website linked in our bio. You can also donate via PayPal or@Zelle with our email [email protected] or via Venmo with username LetsRescueDogs (please beware of scammers with similar usernames!)

Omg Penelope 😭 Her skin is SO bad and it was entirely preventable. We were praying it wasn’t mange and luckily, it’s just a non contagious yeast infection that was left untreated for far too long. At this point, she has a very long road to recovery ahead. Medications and weekly medicated baths are going to be necessary to her healing. We’re looking for someone who can foster her until adopted into a loving home. She’s great with dogs and cats and really really just wants to be around her person. If you can foster Penelope please visit the link in our bio and submit our foster application! If you can’t foster but would like to help contribute to her vet visit and medical care, please consider making a donation via our website linked in our bio. You can also donate via PayPal or Zelle with our email [email protected] OR via Venmo with username LetsRescueDogs (please beware of scammers with similar usernames!) 📍Long Beach, CA

I feel like I’ve been screaming into the void about this puppy for days 💔 I was hoping and praying another rescue with more resources would come for him but today is his last day to be rescued or he will be out to sleep. We can’t just sit back while a 5 month old baby is euthanized alone and scared after all that suffering but it’s not going to be easy. We desperately need transportation for him from Long Beach to his surgery site in Studio City, a long term foster to start once he’s more healed and donations to help us fund his $3,000 surgery to fix his broken pelvis. We cannot do this without your help! We’re going to be posting updates all day of this little dude so please check come back and check in on him. To make a tax exempt donation, please go to our website linked in our bio. You can also donate via Zelle and PayPal with our email [email protected] OR via Venmo with our username LetsRescueDogs (please beware of scammers with similar usernames!) 📍Orange County, CA

So many lives were changed this day. We’re so glad we found Stella and we were able to reunite her with the only thing she had left in the world- her babies 💕 Los Angeles is still riddled with dogs like Stella and our shelters are overflowing with unwanted dogs. Some of those dogs are sick and injured with no hope of the public being able to adopt them. We focus on these cases and help those dogs recover with surgery, rehab, loads of vet care and even more love. The dogs we’d usually help- the ones hit by cars, attacked by wildlife or riddled with mange- we can’t help them right now. Donations and fosters are at an all time low and we need both to continue to operate. There’s a puppy hit by a car and 2 dogs with mange listed for euthanasia at OC Animal care. We hate not being able to go get them and take their pain away. If you can foster, I promise it’ll be the best thing you’ve ever done for a dog in need! If you can’t foster, please consider making a tax exempt donation to go towards helping a pup recover. And don’t forget we have 45 incredible dogs ready and available to adopt 💕 To donate to our rescue you can do so on our website linked in our bio. You can also donate via PayPal & Zelle with our email [email protected] OR you can help via Venmo with username LetsRescueDogs (please beware of scammers with similar usernames)

On the day Picosso was supposed to be euthanized at the Downey Animal Shelter we saw him- blind and absolutely terrified circling in his tiny cage. Knowing he had hours left we made a plan to save his life and that night he was finally in a safe foster home and out of the shelter for good. Needless to say, after it was clear he lashes out when being touched or handled he lost his foster home pretty quickly. He’s been with me ever since. My home is typically a place where vulnerable dogs in unsafe situations can come to immediately while we find them a more long term place to go. But with Picosso here full time, that spot for a vulnerable dog is unavailable. The spot Picosso is taking up could otherwise be used as a lifeline for other dogs whose life is about to be cut short. We’re desperately searching for someone who asks themselves “what can I do for this dog” rather than “what can this dog do for me.” Picosso is NOT a hard dog if you respect his boundaries consistently. I could write a whole handbook on how to get him to the point you see in the video where he actually seeks out your attention. He just needs a person willing to actually give him a chance! You wouldn’t be alone, we would be there to guide you every step of the way. Picosso adores cats (somehow he knows) and is fantastic with dogs too. You can easily call him and coax him outdoors or indoors and he gets the layout of your house in less than a few hours. He’s 8 years old and a whopping 8 pounds. We are seriously going to need the help of the community to share our boy and find him a loving adopter or foster- it hasn’t been easy! Out of state transportation would be considered to the right applicant🩵 If you would consider fostering or adopting Picosso, PLEASE fill out our foster application linked in our bio! Our DMs are inundated with requests, please take the time to fill out the application we can contact you off of social media. 🙏 📍Long Beach, CA

Some cuteness for your Sunday morning 🩵 These little angels and their Mama were rescued from the Riverside Shelter just as their eyes were starting to open for the first time. Cookie did such a great job caring for her babies. They’ve all been treated for Giardia and Cookie’s been vaccinated and spayed. All babies will have their first round of vaccines before going home and we pay for their spays and neuters once they’re of age post adoption! 🩵 They all need to find homes as soon as possible. Can you please share them to help us find their families? To adopt, please fill out our adoption application located via the link in our bio! 📍Located in Long Beach, CA

Finally, an update on sweet Theodore 💕 While at the hospital we found that Theo has a heart murmur and was very anemic from being absolutely infested with fleas. He possibly has cancer, has stones in his bladder and his mouth is rotten so he really needs dental surgery… but his age and heart murmur definitely complicate getting treatment. If we truly want to give him the best quality of life, which is what we promised him, he’ll need an echocardiogram to ensure his heart receives the right medication to survive that surgery. This alone costs $500 and his dental could be another $1500+ 😫 But this is the reality of rescuing super seniors and providing them proper care after years of neglect. We were lucky enough to have his bloodwork, X-rays and tons of diagnostics sponsored by our incredible friends at MAISON SÛRE FOUNDATION 🩵 but to get this boy to 100% we’d really need the help of our community to come together for Theodore. Let’s get him better as soon as possible so he can live the rest of his life pain free. If you can, please donate through our website located via the link in our bio. You can also donate via PayPal & Zelle with our email [email protected] or via Venmo with username LetsRescueDogs (please beware of scammers with similar usernames!)

So much pain for one girl to go through and still hasn’t gotten her happy ending. We rescued Jenny girl back in February and she’s been so amazing. Crate trained, leash trained, great with dogs and kids and with confident cats. This girl truly has so much love in her heart and no family to give it to. If you can’t adopt Jenny would you please share her? She’s so special! To apply to adopt Jenny please please fill out our adoption application linked in our bio 📍Located in Palm Desert, CA

Mango was being given away for free on the Nextdoor app. We don’t have a foster for her because this was a last minute, unplanned rescue. We know how easily she could have went to the wrong hands being unspayed. She’s a nervous girl but she’s sweet as pie, 9lbs, 3years old and is dog and cat friendly. Can anyone foster her? Shes located with me in the Long Beach area. If you can help, please submit an application located via the link in our bio. We’d also be eternally grateful for any help covering her $400 vet bill, we haven’t received enough donations to be able to continue at this capacity much longer. To help us keep saving lives, please donate via our website by clicking the link in our bio. You can also donate via Zelle and PayPal with our email [email protected] or via Venmo with our username LetsRescueDogs (please beware of scammers with similar usernames)
