One of the most special moments from our Back-to-School Backpack Drive was watching our campers prepare their own backpacks for the upcoming school year. 🎒✨

Each camper had the opportunity to pick out the supplies they needed and personalize their backpack with things they loved. But the best part was that after they finished preparing their own backpack, they got right back in line — not to receive, but to give back. 💙

Every camper prepared at least two additional backpacks for other kids, helping us teach the importance of generosity, kindness, and thinking about others.

It was so heartwarming to watch how much thought and love they put into each backpack. They weren’t just throwing supplies together — they were creating something special for another child.

One of our girls chose a pink and blue theme for her own backpack, making sure everything matched perfectly. Then, when it was time to make a backpack for someone else, she picked a yellow and purple backpack and carefully chose school supplies that matched. She smiled and said, “This is a good combination, and whoever gets this backpack, I hope they like it.”

Moments like that remind us that our youth have such big hearts. They understand that giving isn’t just about what you provide — it’s about the love, thought, and care you put into it.

We are so proud of our campers for showing that kindness has no age limit. 💛🎒🌱

This is our LAST WEEK OF SUMMER CAMP!!! 🎉☀️

We literally made it from beginning to end! Two whole months of summer camp with over 40 amazing youth in our program has been a journey to say the least — but what a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable journey it has been! 💙

From our incredible End of Summer Showcase to our Back-to-School Backpack Drive, every moment was filled with growth, creativity, and memories our youth will carry with them. We watched them dance, sing, act, compete, create, and step outside of their comfort zones.

This summer, we expanded our camp experience by adding sports, technology, and choir! Our youth enjoyed everything from PS5s, Wii, and Nintendo Switch games to basketball tournaments on our dual basketball court, soccer activities, performing arts, and so much more.

When we say it was a summer to remember… IT WAS A TIME!!! 🙌🏽✨

To all of our parents and families, thank you for trusting Youth With a Purpose with your children. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to pour into them, encourage them, and create experiences that help them grow. Your trust means everything to us.

We are so proud of every camper and all they accomplished this summer. We can’t wait to see how they continue to shine throughout the school year and beyond.

We had the absolute honor of welcoming Shanice Hart from Three Hart Connection to spend time with our young ladies (ages 13+) this summer. 💕✨

Although the conversation was brief, the impact was powerful. Shanice poured wisdom, encouragement, and love into our girls as they prepare to step into a new school year. She reminded them of the strength they carry, the potential within them, and all the amazing things they can look forward to as they continue to grow.

Sometimes the moments that happen quickly and unexpectedly become the moments that leave the biggest impression. Even though it was last minute, unplanned, and short, the heart behind it was felt deeply.

Shanice, thank you for taking the time to pour into our girls and for showing up with so much love and passion. We appreciate you, we value you, and we are grateful for the work you continue to do in the lives of young women.

Thank you for helping us continue to plant seeds of hope and water purpose. 💗🌱

As we wrapped up our Backpack Back-to-School Drive at Youth With a Purpose on July 30, 2026, our hearts were so full. 💙🎒

Watching these amazing young people grow over the summer has been one of our greatest joys. We’ve seen them build confidence, discover new talents, make new friendships, overcome challenges, and take steps toward becoming the incredible individuals God created them to be.

As they head back to school, we’re not just sending them with backpacks and school supplies—we’re sending them with encouragement, hope, and the reminder that they are capable of achieving great things.

To all of our YWAP youth: We are so proud of each and every one of you. We know you’re going to be a blessing to your classmates, your teachers, and your schools. Continue to be kind, work hard, dream big, and never forget your purpose.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this year’s Backpack Back-to-School Drive. Because of your generosity, our youth are starting the school year feeling prepared, encouraged, and loved.

Today was one of those days that fills your heart from beginning to end. 🤍

From working together, laughing, and making it out of the escape room alive 😅🔐 to sharing great conversations over an incredible meal at The Modern Tea Room, today was exactly what our team needed.

The Modern Tea Room never disappoints the food is always, always, ALWAYS amazing, and we’re so grateful we got to enjoy it together. ☕🫖✨

I’m beyond thankful for our Summer Staff Team. They have poured so much love, energy, patience, and dedication into serving our youth every single day. With up to 40 amazing kids walking through our doors daily, this team continues to show up with excellence, compassion, and purpose.

Days like today remind me that behind every successful program is a team that genuinely cares. I’m so grateful to do this work alongside such incredible people.

Here’s to finishing this summer strong! 💙 We have 3 weeks of camp left, and we can’t wait to make every moment count for the youth we serve.
