Ube Arte is a Southern California-based collective of professional musicians, dancers, and academics

Our roster of distinguished artists and scholars includes founding members of the Pakaraguian Kulintang Ensemble of Southern California (PKE), Rocksteady Rondalla, Malaya Filipino American Dance Arts, and more. Co-founded by Dr. Mary Talusan Lacanlale, Dr. Bernard Ellorin, Marlo Campos, Eleanor Lipat-Chesler, Nicole Mae Martin, and Peter Paul de Guzman, Ube Arte artist/scholars have researched, written, and performed individually and in collaboration together for over twenty years.
