She’s back in the classroom now but we still think about the girl who showed up for camp on Monday a little nervous and left on Friday like she owned the place. If your daughter had a summer at Athena, you know exactly what we mean!

And if she hasn’t yet, 2027 early enrollment begins soon - we would love to welcome her 🩷

The last day of summer is always a little bittersweet. It’s the official close of our 2026 season and the start of our countdown to next year 🎉

We are already working behind the scenes to make 2027 our best season yet, and we would love for your daughter to be part of it! Former Athena campers can sign up now for next summer at our best price of the year. We hope to see her back.

Happy last day of summer!

According to the Girls Index, 2 in 3 girls don’t speak their mind because they want to be liked.

That stat stopped us in our tracks and it’s exactly why Circles are one of the most important things we do at Athena Camps every single day.

Circles are a space where every girl gets to speak her truth, use her voice, and practice sharing her thoughts in front of others. Building that confidence is deeply intentional work. And it’s at the heart of everything we do each summer!

Somewhere in San Jose this summer, a little girl stood in front of a goal twice her size — and she didn't think twice about it.

That's our girl. ⚽🦋💪

At the end of every camp week, we asked parents to share what they observed in their daughters. Here is what the 2026 families told us:

82% saw their daughter growing in confidence
85% said their daughter felt like she belonged to a community
85% saw their daughter grow socially
87% saw their daughter willing to try new things
92% said our coaches are great role models for their girls
96% would recommend Athena Camps to another family

These numbers mean everything to us! Because behind every percentage is a girl who showed up, tried something hard, found her people, and left a little more herself than when she arrived. THAT is Athena Camps. That is why we do this. 🦋

2027 registration is now open for current families at our best rate of the year!
